Tethered Installation
7kW tethered home charger for a Ware riverside property — side-return driveway installation with neat consumer unit upgrade and DNO sign-off.
This Ware homeowner needed a charging solution on a narrow side-return driveway, with the consumer unit requiring an upgrade to meet current regulations.
We replaced the existing consumer unit, installed a dedicated EV circuit with Type A RCD protection, and mounted a 7kW tethered charger on the boundary wall.
DNO notification was submitted and approved before commissioning, with the customer receiving a full electrical installation certificate and charger warranty registration.
