This Hertford terrace had a 60A supply that could not support a full 32A EV charging circuit alongside the household load — a typical constraint on older town-centre properties.
We installed a 7kW smart charger with dynamic load balancing, monitoring total household demand and adjusting charge rate automatically to stay within safe limits.
The system was configured via the manufacturer's app, giving the owners visibility of charging sessions, energy costs, and real-time household consumption.
